Natural Europe team rocked at Europeana's hackathon
Ε4Ε: Europeana for Education

 

Natural Europe team participated in the "Hack4Europe! 2012" event that took place in Leuven and won the "Social inclusion" award! The goal of the event was to show the potentials of the Europeana content and APIs by building applications to showcase the social and business value of open cultural data.

Educators Summer School Completed!

The training course, hosted by Ellinogemaniki Agogi in Rethymnon (Crete) from July 3rd to July 6th 2012, aimed at bringing together science teachers and natural history museum educators exploring, in order to share experiences, ideas and to collaborate bridging the gap between formal and non-formal learning.

Educators Summer School 2012

NATURAL EUROPE: Use of Natural History and Environmental Cultural Heritage Digital Content for Education

 

The Summer School will take place at Panormos, Crete, Greece from the 1st to the 6th of July 2012. The host institution is the University of Crete. The course is titled "Nature of Inquiry in Inquiry of Nature", and it is open to science teachers, teacher trainers, museum educators/museum staff and science communicators.
