GRNET participated in “ECLAP 2012 Conference on Information Technologies for performing arts, media and entertainment” that was held in Florence, Italy from May 7th to May 9th 2012. The ECLAP conference offered the opportunity to European Commission projects and partners in the areas of cultural heritage and Europeana to collaborate and present their results. GRNET organized a workshop titled “Natural Europe Learning Pathways” to promote the project’s results and suggest ways to use them in other fields of interest (performing arts). |

GRNET participated in the “2012 SPNHC 27th Annual Meeting” held in New Haven, Connecticut, USA from June 11th to June 16th 2012 and hosted by Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History. GRNET presented “Technology Enhanced Education for Natural History Museums” to an audience of more than 60 Natural History museum curators and educators. |

In Denmark, the paper titled “Enhancing Educational Activities in the Museums through Technology and Pedagogy: The Natural Europe experience” was presented, focusing on the possibilities of exploitation of Natural History Museum collections for educational purposes. |

The pathway authoring tool had been introduced to the participants and the participants were trained in the use of the tools. |
