4th Project Meeting in Sankt Augustin

The 4th Natural Europe project meeting was held between Monday 19th to Wednesday 21st of March 2012 in Sankt Augustin, Germany. The meeting has been hosted at the Fraunhofer Institute Center Schloss Birlinghoven.

4thmeeting

 

The objectives of the 4th Project Meeting have been the following:

·    To focus on the content population progress of the second year of the project. All content providers provided an indicative schedule for the content that will provide the following period from April 2012 to September 2012,

·    To discuss on the results of the quality assessment of the metadata records content partners provided that took place during month February 2012, giving emphasis on metadata good practices,

·    To present and work on the last version of the Multimedia Annotation Authoring tool that is used to publish cultural heritage objects,
·    To discuss on issues related at the Natural Europe educational pathways and the results of the evaluation of the first years’ pathways according to the quality criteria as these have been established during the requirements elicitation workshops. Moreover, to present the game based educational approach for Natural Europe pathways,
·    To present the Pathway player on the NHM websites and discuss with partners on possible changes and comments,
·    To discuss on the strategy plan in regards to dissemination and affiliation issues of the project, with emphasis on the connections and affiliations that could be achieved,
·    To discuss the upcoming training events that will be organized within the museums and science centres of the project.

 

In the meeting, 28 members of 13 project partners have participated.
