Herptiles of Turkey is a non-commercial, herptile monitoring and photography society consisting of volunteers founded in July 2011.

The Natural Europe Summer School will take place at Heraklion, Crete, Greece from the 1st to the 6th of July 2012. The host institution will be the University of Crete. The venue will be announced in due course. The course is titled: "NATURAL EUROPE: Use of Natural History and Environmental Cultural Heritage Digital Content for Education", and it is open to science teachers, teacher trainers, museum educators/museum staff and science communicators.
